Super Aguri to race at Barcelona

By Jonathan Noble and Matt Beer Friday, April 25th 2008, 06:55 GMT The beleaguered Super Aguri team have confirmed that they will race in this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, even though they have not yet finalised a deal to secure their future. Super Aguri's participation had been in doubt after a potential buyout by the Magma Group fell through shortly after the Sakhir race. Yesterday autosport.com revealed that Honda had told Super Aguri that they would not be able to compete at Barcelona unless they completed a deal with investors before this morning. But while discussions about the team's future are continuing and are set to run into next week, Aguri Suzuki's team now plan to contest this weekend's race. The team have been present at the Catalunya track since earlier this week, and have been preparing normally for the race weekend while efforts to secure their future continued.
